Tourism & Leisure

We help you make the most of your land with tourism and leisure projects that unlock new revenue streams. Informed by market research and environmental analysis, our projects have mostly focused on retreats, wilderness and heritage.

We collaborate on business plans, design, planning and associated consents such as environmental permitting – taking projects from tendering to opening day.

Cally Loch, Dunkeld, is home to eight bespoke woodland cabins, each designed to respond to their local environment.

At Tulliemet, we helped develop two shepherds’ huts to create a wilderness experience in Highland Perthshire.

Sheriffmuir Heritage Trail in Dunblane is a 30 km circular trail with multiple connection points. It tells the story of the landscape, heritage and cultural context of the Battle of Sheriffmuir, along with the land’s connections to the Romans, the first northern frontier and the WW2 Atlantic wall. This project was part funded through the EU LEADER programme, and Scottish Forestry Woodlands’ ‘In and Around Towns’ initiative.
